What Makes EmpowerLink Unique
في عام 2024، تولى مركز Eduba إدارة برنامج "التدريب على إدارة برامج المغتربين" التابع لمنظمة Mercy Hands، وهي المبادرة الأولى من نوعها في العراق.
يعتمد هذا البرنامج على خبرة منظمة "ميرسي هاندز" منذ عام ٢٠١٥ في توظيف العاملين الدوليين في المجال الإنساني. في عام ٢٠٢٠، بدأت المنظمة بتقديم برامج تدريب مدفوعة الأجر للمهنيين المغتربين الشباب، حيث وضعتهم تحت إشراف مديري برامج محليين. اكتسب هؤلاء المتدربون خبرة ميدانية قيّمة، وعززوا في الوقت نفسه مهارات الموظفين المحليين، مما حقق فوائد جمة للمجتمعات التي تخدمها.
بعد أربع سنوات من النجاح، أُطلق البرنامج رسميًا عام ٢٠٢٤، ويديره الآن مركز تدريب "إدوبا". يربط البرنامج العاملين الأجانب المبتدئين في المجالين الإنساني والتنموي بمنظمات المجتمع المدني المحلية في العراق، مما يوفر منافع متبادلة: إذ تستفيد منظمات المجتمع المدني المحلية من الخبرات الدولية، بينما يكتسب المتدربون الأجانب خبرة ميدانية بالغة الأهمية للارتقاء بمسيرتهم المهنية في القطاعين الإنساني والتنموي.
